So the master bedroom project has been completed and the cats are happy that we are through moving the furniture around and pulling up carpet. All though they really miss the carpet and are hoping we will get the area rugs picked out and placed soon. They don't like cold floors. Imagine that. :)
This is a shot of the room at the start of the project. I didn't get a floor shot with the carpet since there was furniture in the way at the time. Basically a path was cleared for the ladder and then once the final coat of paint had dried for 4 hours the carpet was pulled up from that section and the furniture moved for the next section. This and the final placing of all the furniture was completed just in time for bed on Monday night. Thankfully the trim still looked good from the last time I painted so we left that alone for now. The colors chosen were Sassy Violet (West walls) and Simply Purple (all the other walls).
Now if we can just connect with the cabinet guys and get the second and final project item on our list started...
